Cataloochee camping trip

We spent last weekend camping with a large group of friends, new and old, in Cataloochee Valley.  The forests and waters surrounding us were pristine, the air was crisp and no noise except the woods and creatures around us.  It was so relaxing, I believe I sat in a camping chair watching the little ones play in the creek most of the time.

 Adeline had a wonderful time playing with the older girls and all the extra giggles she was receiving from them.  


It was so sweet to watch and they all enjoyed in a few games of duck duck goose. 

Kelwyn spent most of his time hunting crawfish in the river.  We could not drag him away.

We let him keep a bucket of them by our tent as we slept, in river water of course, and the largest one was gone in the morning.  We cannot help but wonder if it made it's way back to the river or became a meal for another animal!
